Before Huaey begins her comment, I just like to give a little background of myself as 'ToneyS Wong'. I have been a writer of poems for a number of years and now author of books. I am a language developer, am not a musician by assigned profession but a high grade vocalist, an experimenter of electrical and electronics, a small time inventor who has invented more than a hundred ideas-items but never has had any of his inventions patented. I am into ecology, population control, human future sustainability etc. I do not live by religion dependency of any sort, I don't go to church, but I live most importantly by righteousness, which is an act that many people in my country do not know anything about in real lives ! ! ! ! My family, actually, my larger family part is the Rose family off Burial Ground Corner, off East Street. There at the end of the street, stands a wooden house where Uncle Rose initiated his family a very long time ago and my own mother was also born in this house painted green throughout the years.
The Rose family is a large Afro background family, including Attorney Debra Rose who represented Anna's case a little while back, she practices legal profession in her office located on Bay street along with her other sister attorney. Also, Gloria Rose is in education, Derek is in insurance, Stephanie is another attorney whose office is on Marathon Road. In this little country of ours, most everyone is connected to or knows everyone else in some way or another. Naturally, Mr. Delancy, the head of Building Control, Ministry Of Works, whom we report on this website as being corrupt, is known to be friend of some of these, our Rose's family members including Debra Rose. We must realize that Mr. Delancy who willingly did not enforce the law under his public servant job portfolio, is one of the many many governmental problems here, should any of our family members gets upset over our accusation on Mr. Delancy, the best thing to do is for them to assist resolving the problem, which they did not, have not. Now Mrs. Wong's statement begins below.

Summary :
An illegal wall was built in my property by my Jamaican neighbour Mr. Louis James Hemmings in April 08, written complaint was forwarded to Works Ministry, but instead of causing the illegal structure to be removed, ‘Delancy’ in Works Ministry merely indicated in his letter that the wall construction were stopped. Some months after, this Jamaican person picks back up on the construction again. If Works Ministry did do its job as the law requires at the time when the first complaint was submitted, the wall would have been made taken down and further problem would have been eliminated. But no, I still now have to complain once more to Works Ministry. These government people are, using colloquial, ‘Playing Crazy’, they knew well that it were their duties to have illegal structure removed, but they act like they did not know any better, the system is totally complacent and corrupt, everyone, the best job they could do is to play games around your head !
Another but similar matter, an illegal construction was approved by our Government Building Control Department of Ministry Of Works, I forwarded complaints, Works Ministry ignored both my complaints and my attorney’s. Well, I do not think much about our attorneys anyway in the country, they do nothing for you. The prime minister (Willfully written without capitalization) of our Bahamas land Mr. Hubert Ingraham was formally and politely asked to have this corrupted situation corrected, but he did nothing ! !
Back to the illegal wall, I did pay an attorney Mrs. Stephanie Wells whose office of legal practice is located on Shirley Street, to have legal action taken against my Mr. Louis James Hemmings for intentionally removing my gate and built have a part of this wall built where the gate was. She made unreasonable excuse and did nothing, she lies to her client ! The person who recommended me to this attorney is a Church Preacher, Mister Brother Major of Central Church Of Christ in Yellow Elder whom both my business associate Mr. ToneyS Wong and I had high respects for, over some long years of time ! ! Why is the situation this bad in our country ? Because, the government reprimands nobody as long as that it is government people who do the crimes, it is like a little private club, all civil servants and government related persons are automatically harbored, and all non-government related citizens suffer as a result. In the old days, children climbed a wall or something, we thought it were bad enough, we took these children and got them beaten on their backsides ! This is what these government people now need to receive, be put on some peoples’ laps and spanked ...... there ! Well anything done when found ? Nothing to it, there is no shame or anything associated with peoples’ actions these new days, unlike the old days when everyone knew about shames and, and shames did stop people, honor stopped people from doing misdeeds as well, but do our government people think that they had any honor to keep ? ? ? They take glories and become heroes in their own minds if their misdeeds are publicized, it vividly seems ! They think how good they were when they beat the laws and take advantage of other people by rebellious acts ! ! This is how adult these government people are. Our neighbours for example, the USA, politicians go to jails too if found, tried and committed by a court of laws ! ! In this rotten little place what we call “A Country”, our government brazenly shaves every citizens’ eyebrows openly, insult their intelligence and trample over their rights in big broad daylights ! ! Where is moral in this country ? ? I further heard that those steal or otherwise in government level, are hailed ‘Heros’ ! Is this true ? What did you hear anyway ?
Bahamians have been really taking too much from our government over the long years since independence, no joke ! Two special enquiries turned up recommendation to further investigations, but the government did nothing, just let the politicians and other government people go just like that, in front of our eyes and in broad daylight ! One day soon though, there will be another Los Angeles in the nineties in Nassau, or another ‘Burma Road’ or watchumccallit ! People can take only so much, then revolt will sure to ensue, the streets of Nassau will be burned to hell till kingdom comes ....... heaven forbids ! With that, government offices be the first to be burned, just like sometimes with the cases of attorneys’ offices. The government and its people are playing a hard ball game, a game of death, a Russian Roulette if you will ! ! ! !
My original demand to Works Ministry in April included many clauses, one of them dealt with removal of this illegal wall, then Mister Delancy merely wrote to say that they would stop the construction and did not answer to the other issues, allowing the chance for this man of obduracy to continue on building the wall a few months after, such a dirty game they play together ! In his letter, Mr. Delancy referred to the fact that I had no telephone contact in my letter of complaints to the department. But why need my telephone to demand the man to remove the illegal wall ! ? ? ? Besides, if he really needed the number, it is on the invoice of the delivery by the courier. Poor excuses only contribute to insults to the citizens he serves, not just to me, but to all Bahamians at large ! ! ! People are now wondering how much went under the table ! At the left side, from the menu, please click open and see this letter that I demanded of Works Ministry from April for these clauses. They were warmed that they would be sued if anything, but they brazenly dare to continue on their game ways after all, allowing this man the chance to continue building his structure. Mister Delancy is trying to insult my intelligence and has no respect for me as a citizen that he is paid to serve ! ! ! ! On second thought, I will delay inputting this letter on this website for two days, pending on Works Ministry’s reaction to my second letter in connection to this wall business, which I sent in a day ago.

After newspaper report on the matter the first time last year, Mr. Delancy continued to allow further similar unconstitutional thing to happen, this means that Mr. Delancy is trying to tell the world that he did not give a dime, that he had no dignity nor self respect to care about. If there will not be proper correct, I will seek supports to have Mr. Delancy removed from office as the head of the department of Building Control, he ashames the Bahamian people as the head of a government department ! If we let one wrong doing slipped by, surely more others will be added onto future time, it is a matter of examples must be set.
